msmit106 asked: I don’t want to go to the store to buy anything, but am having pretty bad pains. I know it is acid reflux because I have had it before, and I would like to know if anyone knows of any home remedies on how to ease the stabbing pain!! Thanks

a spoon full of flour should do the trick…just eat it as is, add nothing

Some people get results from about 1/3 teaspoon of baking soda in water, and drink it down. Helps buffer the acids causing your trouble. If it persists, call you doctor. there are medications which do a great job with reflux.

I don’t have a home remedy, sorry, but if you have bad acid reflux you need to see a doctor and get something like prevacid to help neutralize the acid. This can be really dangerous and cause esophagus cancer. I have been on prescription drugs for this for years and use to suffer terribly with back pain between my shoulders caused from it also.

do you have any uncooked pasta or rice in the house?
swallow a little bit of that, it absorbs the acid

Chew mint leaves or chew chalk or grate a teaspoon of ginger and put it in a mug of boiled water and let it stew until cool enough to drink and do not strain it.
Or drink a full can of fizzy soda fast.

You can use baking soda and water. It will make you burp.
About 1/2 cup water 1/2 tsp. of baking soda. It’s a very old fashioned alternative, but it works. Good Luck..
